Work Placement Opportunities

South Wales Police Part Time Public Service Access Programme is now open to receive applications. The application window will remain open until 5th August 2026.

The Public Service Access Programme is a 6 - month opportunity, in which the placement gains essential work experience in their chosen field of work. The placement will work 2 days per week.

The placement will benefit from the opportunity to develop many skills including leadership, critical thinking and team building and may have the opportunity to participate in some of the established South Wales Police training programmes. They will also have a network of support and encouragement from line managers, who will guide them through their role and provide ongoing support throughout the programme.
